Courtney Deans-Bagby OL-325Milestone two: challenging the process & enabling others to act Challenging the process/Enabling others to act Its important to keep in mind two things when you obtain a role in leadership. One: there is no “I” in team and Two: the team is only as great as it’s last success. In other words, there is not star player everyone involve makes an impact on the teams’ overall success. Continuing with the three areas of improvement for leadership: excessive connectivity, accomplishing goals, and stagnancy we need to discuss how important challenging the process and enabling others to act plays a huge role in the five practices of leadership model. Challenging the process is by no means replacing everything from the ground up or fighting the team when they have a different opinion than that of the leader in charge. The process is simply discovering innovative ways of operating to collectively grow and improve as a team.
