The Capstone Project of my focused area of practice will be related to the nurse practitioners in
the Cardiac unit. Patient safety and evidence-based practice will form the foundation of my
clinical topic. Since the cardiac unit I work for deals with cases related to heart issues, my
Capstone Project is focused on creating an effective education platform. This platform aims to
help patients suffering from heart failure (HF) gain critical knowledge on how to manage better
and reduce the heart failure symptoms affecting them. This is an essential issue because I have
worked in the Cardiac unit as a nurse. This topic was developed from my personal experience
