Business 101 Article Review #1 Tyler Piecara 4/2/2008 1. To make accounting sexy, the four largest accounting firms were ranked all within the top 11 spots on BusinessWeek's second annual ranking of the best companies for new college graduates. These four companies Deloitte & Touche, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, and KPMG are doing more than ever before to recruit the 'Gen Y's' for their company. 2. The article describes the 'Gen Y's' as, "the 78 million born between 1982 and 2000 who began entering the workforce three years ago." The article goes on to describe us as, "praised and coddled" as people and as employees we demand work that is vital to the companies success, get feedback relevant to the work done, and a seat at the table. I find this description to be only partially true. I believe that as a generation we have been pushed harder than any one before us, and when the work has been completed in a timely and successful manner, then we are rewarded or "coddled" as the article states. This constant pressure on us has driven us to succeed in school and work.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
