Any corrections or additions to the syllabus will be posted at the course Blackboard site and are understood to be part of the syllabus. The course Instructor and Administrator will adhere to and institute the syllabus rules and regulations. There will be no exceptions. A STATEMENT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY & BIOCHEMISTRY: Group Tutoring/Review Sessions: From time to time, outside students and other private individuals offer group tutoring and/or review sessions for students in this class, usually for a fee. The expertise of the people offering such sessions is often questionable, and the legality of using university facilities for this purpose is not clear. Furthermore, there is no evidence that attendance at any such sessions improves any student’s exam score or course grade. Therefore, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry does not recommend or endorse any such outside group tutoring/review sessions. If necessary, problem sessions by qualified individuals that are sponsored and endorsed by the department will be scheduled and announced in class or on the course Blackboard site (e.g. through the SI program).

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
