The movement away from the conservative fifties continued and eventually resulted in new ways of thinking and real change in the cultural framework of American life. Young people in this generation didnt want to blend, so they felt the need to change. The changes affected education, values, lifestyles, laws, and entertainment. Many of the ideas of that started in the 1960s is still being carried on today.
