Souza POLS-1100 Professor Melton A More Perfect Constitution Essay 09/08/2015 A More Prefect Constitution The Constitution of the United States of America has stood as an epic symbol of freedom. To many, a perfect and well written form of denying of gods given rights. However, could there be improvements made to it? Could it be that the Constitution no longer suits today's changing needs. Larry J. Sabato, writer of,   A More Perfect Constitution, seems to think so.   Sabatos reform of the Constitution doesn't simply start by looking focusing one aspect. His courageous and notorious attack at government in general is evident. He first give us a representa- tion of the general population out look on Congress by stating, "It's not hard to discern how most Americans look at Congress. Whether in public opinion polls or person-in-the-street interviews, cit- izens regard the national legislators the way they would disliked relatives: They know they have to live with them, but they hope to have as little contact as possible." (Sabato pg. 19) Such a statement raise our speculations that every politic is indeed a thief. We know that there is a lacking force of decency in government to attack today's biggest problems. And, "instead of seeing positive action, Americans witness headline after headline of congressional corruption." (Sabato pg.19) With of
