ABRAHAM LINCOLN ASSASSINATION Here is the list of references I intend to use in my research paper. Snider, Denton Jaques. Abraham Lincoln, an Interpretation in Biography. St. Louis, MO: Sigma Publishing, 1908 Snider, Denton Jaques is the author of this original piece of literature, in it, he describes the life of one of the most important men in the history of North America, Abraham Lincoln. This book helps readers follow the journey of Lincoln from birth until his candidacy for the presidency. Because this book was written in 1908, it is an excellent source of information for any student or person interested in finding more about where Lincoln came from. There is nothing better than reading a book written by someone who lived in the same era as Lincoln, it gives the information more credibility. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking into writing a paper about Lincoln’s life or is just interested in American history. Nichols, Clifton M. Life of Abraham Lincoln: Being a Biography of His Life from His Birth to His Assassination: Also a Record of His Ancestors, and a Collection of Anecdotes Attributed to Lincoln. New York City: Mast, Crowell & Kirkpatrick, 1896 In this book written by Nichols Clifton In 1896, the life of Abraham Lincoln and his death is described in detail. Furthermore facts about Lincoln’s ancestors and anecdotes lived by the late president are written in this book, no doubt this book containing more than 300 pages has enough credible information to write any school essay, leading me to believe I would recommend it to other information seekers. It is important to mention that the author also uses more than a hundred photographs to help Illustrate the life of President Lincoln, making it easier for the reader to understand what the writer is trying to explain in the book. I intend to use this book as a primary source for my research and writing.
