Deborah Gillen Bibliography English 101, Section 037 6 October 2007 WORKS CITED Wiehl, Lis W. The 51% Minority : how women still are not equal and what you can do about it . New York : Ballantine Books, 2007. o This article is directed toward a woman’s opinion. The title itself explains the argument the author is showing. The author gives many examples of places women are still not treated equally, mostly in the working region. It goes into great detail about how women with children are treated very unequally to men in a work environment. However, she seems very motivated to change this and reach out to women everywhere to help her. I thought the text was very inspiring, and caused me to feel similar to her. I agreed with most of her opinions, but some were very far-fetched, like when she said, “if men had to take care of children like women do”, because many men do take care of children equally. This article will help me with women’s opinions about media and overall status. Gill, Rosalind. Gender and the Media
