Huen 3100 Fall 2007 November 5, 2007 While walking through the museum, I was enlightened by many works of art. I have never been to an art exhibit before the Denver Art Museum. Therefore, I believe museums are to show what people like me are missing out. I really enjoyed the abstract art, because this kind of art went outside the box and ventured to its own level of artistic ability. In addition, abstract art really makes me think about what the artist is trying to show; it is like a puzzle. My favorite was “A Peaceable Kingdom” by Edward Hicks, because I love animals and this painting had all the animals of the forest in peace with one

My second favorite was Galokwudzuwis mask by George Walkus. It was all black and white with an eye in the middle that caught my attention.
