General Information Visual Basic is a general purpose, versatile, structured programming language. The version of visual basic implemented within Microsoft Applications such as EXCEL, WORD, ACCESS is termed Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) VBA can take input from a worksheet, calculate the results and finally output the result in the same or different worksheet. VBA code development occurs within the Visual Basic Editor
