It all started back on February 7, 1990. We were just little kids ages 7 and 9. My best friend, her mom, and little baby brother passed away very tragically in a house fire. As a young kid any event such as the one I experienced as a child is very traumatic and sticks with you for the rest of your life. I am interested in fire science and emergency management because it has been a lifelong dream of mine to be a fire inspector. I want to know why and how fires start, the science behind fires, and the causes of a house or other structure fires. My ideal position in the fire service is a fire inspector. I would like to go into this line of work because I think I would be good at it. I am good at solving problems. This is something that I should have done all along but things happen in life but now things are different. I know people
