Lecture 2  05/09/2007 11:38:00 Basic Concepts Weak judgment v. strong judgment Weak – illogically weaker, not necessarily bad Strong contention- to say abortion is permissible and obligatory Usually the strong judgment we see in abortion is the one that says its wrong Conservative exceptions: rape, incest, health Difference between strong and weak – in the weak judgment nothing is ruled  out Pope says all abortion is wrong – most right position possible
