Final Exam Review Sheet Sociology/Legal Studies 641 November 30, 2006 On the exam there will be three types of questions: 1) The two very short answer questions should be answered by a short paragraph, or just a few sentences, and should provide a basic, brief summary of the subject matter. 2) The five short answer questions should be answered by a somewhat longer paragraph or two, fully explaining the issue as described in the text. 3) The three medium-sized answer questions should be answered by a response that is about twice the length of a short answer question, or two or three paragraphs explaining in detail the material as discussed in lecture. Note that these medium-sized answers should be significantly shorter than the kind of long essay question one frequently encounters on exams. The questions on the test will be taken from the following questions. You will have a choice about which questions to answer. Each very short answer will be worth 6 points, each short answer 12 points, and each medium-sized question 20 points.
