Assessment| BSBWHS616Assessment process overviewThe Student Assessment Booklet is used to assess student performance against the requirements of the unitof competency BSBWHS616 APPLY SAFE DESIGN PRINCIPLES TO CONTROL WHS RISKS. Students mustsatisfactorily complete the following assessment tasks to be deemed competent.Assessment TaskAssessment Outline1.Written AssessmentStudents are required to read each question and provide an appropriatewritten response.2. Project (s)Students are required to advise on WHS principles that support safe design,advise on systematic approach to WHS risk management for safe design,advise on consultation processes in product’s life cycle and advise onprocurement systems to minimise ‘purchased’ WHS hazards and theirassociated risks.Assessment requirementsYou will be provided an assessment schedule by your trainer. This will indicate the times assessments will beundertaken.Prior to assessment your assessor will provide you information on how to prepare. Ensure you are fullyprepared for each assessment task.
