Web 2.0 Web 2.0 is an idea that the World Wide Web has undergone a “rebirth” of sorts, and in the process started to build a better P2P (peer to peer) community on the web. With new technologies such as blogs, RSS feeds, wikis and podcasts people have been able to be more creative in sharing technology. It has been said that a blog is born every half second, just to prove how much more interactive and user-friendly the web is now. Web 2.0 occurred after the dotcom recession in late 2001, and many believed that the World Wide Web was done for, when in fact it was merely in the Trough of Disillusionment on the Hype Cycle. I
