Christians go through a lifelong process of growing and learning that is considerably different from other religions. This process is known to most as going from a level of bios to zoe. In other words Christians aren’t born into alignment with God and they must become aligned with him in order to receive Jesus’ gift of everlasting life. In my opinion this is the greatest gift to all humanity. His death washed away our sins and by him sacrificing his blood and dying he gave a new meaning to the word death for all humanity because there is an after life in heaven if one believes that Christ paid for the ultimate sin that was originally believed to be the Great Rebel. In fact it says in the New Testament that Christ volunteered to be punished and through this process of his death and coming to life again then Christ washed away our sins. Bios is a level at which all humans are born and if one is fortunate enough they were born into a family that was spiritually mature and taught their children about the gift of Jesus. This is the first step in going from a level of bios to a level of zoe. Zoe is only attained by taking the first step and making Jesus a personal savior and accepting his gift
