Dr. Emmert POSC 2353 20 February 2007 Problem Set III A. 2(45 x 600) + (45 x 300) = 67,500 67,000 x (1/2.5) = 27,000 27,000/.96 = 28,125 Pullets 45 x 300 = 13,500 13,500 x (1/2.5) = 5,400 5,400 /.96 = 5,625 Cockerels B. 5,625/28,125 = .2 = 1/5 This is not an acceptable ratio since there are 5 males for every female. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
