James Bush April 9, 2008 Senior Year Experience Final Reflection: Senior Year Experience This spring semester I chose to take the Senior Year Experience course to coincide with my final semester at Uconn. I had heard really great things about the program in terms of its helpfulness in preparing soon-to-be-graduating students for the “real world”. To that end, it definitely lived up to its reputation. I really liked the lectures that focused on Resume writing and preparing and executing interviews. The class discussions really helped me get a bearing on how well other students were adjusting to the idea of entering the work force, making me feel not quite so over-whelmed. The lecture about writing my resume was highly informative, and really provided me with step-by-step instructions on what to (as well as what not to) include in my resume. It broke the resume down into sections, and the power point that was subsequently made available to us really made my resume formation a much simpler process.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
