Yang You Assignment 3 Both videos show the central dogma of biochemistry, which involves the processes of DNA to RNA, and then to Protein. The first video shows how transcription of DNA begins and how RNA is matched with the DNA. In addition, the first video also further explains some technical terms such as introns and exon, which helps me, better understand the process. While the first animation has a vivid graphic expression of how RNA been edited to translate into the protein and the function of RNA polymerase, the video does not fully address the transcription and translation. The second animation does

Unformatted text preview: a remarkable work on explaining the DNA-RNA-Protein process. With the picture and text, I get to understand that transcription is the process when a gene is copied from the DNA template into the mRNA by the enzyme RNA Polymerase. And the process of translation involves mRNA serves as messenger process information from the nucleus to the cytosol, which is where proteins are made.
