1.0 INDRODUCTIONThis Risk Management Plan (hereinafter called "RMP")has been issued by Consolidated ContractingEngineeringand Procurement S.A.L. - Of Shore (hereinafter called "CONTRACTOR") to describe theorganization, strategies and procedures that will be utilized to manage risks associated with:EPC Works for 4GTG Project at Abu Dhabi, Ofshore - Contract No.XXXX (Hereinafter called the "Project").The RMP describes the project objectives and environment to relate this to the scope of riskmanagement as applicable to the project and to the way in which risks will be identified andassessed. The RMP lists specific risk management tools and techniques to be used, the Key rolesassigned to concerned individuals, the schedule of risk reviews, report to be produced and therisk assessment criteria to assess and prioritise risks.2.0 DEFINITIONSProject Manager:Project Manager is the person assigned by CONTRACTOR to handle the overallresponsibility for the Project.Project Risk:Any uncertainty that, if it occurs, will have a positive or negative efect on theachievement of one or more project objectives. Positive risks are known as "opportunities" andnegative risks are called "threats".Risk Management Plan (RMP):A document that records the parameters of the risk managementprocess for the Project, including: the scope and context of the risk assessment; objectivesmethodology, tools to be used; roles and responsibilities; reporting and update cycles, and riskassessment criteria.
