Mass Determination Alejandro Roman 2 Objective The objective of this experiment is to become familiar with two different ways in obtaining physical measurements of three objects using two different scales. The first scale used will be a triple beam balance and the second scale used will be an electronic scale. We will be able to determine the limitations of both scales and make a judgment on which is better for physical measurement of an object. Materials used Triple beam balance scale Electronic balance scale Object A Object B Object C 100 ml beaker Calculator Safety glasses Proper attire for laboratory Summary of Procedures Become familiar with the balance you are using and be able to use correctly. If you do not know how to use the balance ask your instructor for an example on how to use it. Zero the scale and determine the smallest level of precision of the scale being used.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
