Alison Cevallos Dropping the atomic bomb The atomic bombs that were dropped in Japan has caused a big debate till this day on whether dropping the atomic bombs are justifiable or not. many have supported Truman’s decision and justify the dropping of the bombs, but in my opinion Truman’s decision was not the best. Dropping the bombs in Japan was the worst decision ever made. The bombs weren’t even necessary, according to Decision C “the Japanese were already defeated and ready to surrender because of the effective sea blockage and the successful bombing with conventional weapons”, therefore we shouldn’t have invited Japan they were coming clean, we could have ended in good terms with Japan, but we created a big chaos in Hiroshima, and Nagasaki, by ruining structures of both cities, having innocent people suffer, destroying childhoods of many kids , and having survivors face the aftermath of the bombs till this day. When Japan attacked Pearl harbor we lost man who were fighting at war not innocent civilians that had nothing to do with war. Japan didn’t dropped bombs in a populated city. However, U.S did and that was completely wrong, according to 24 hours After Hiroshima “eighty percent of the people in Hiroshima were civilians”, They weren’t even soldiers, they we innocent people that were living in peace, and all of a sudden they had to go through this horrible nightmare that was totally unfair for them to live. Pretty much every innocent citizen in Hiroshima and Nagasaki paid for the shattered glass. Furthermore, the estimate number of
