Select an organization and identify and evaluate the components of its Strategic Plan (i.e., Vision, Mission, Values, Core Competencies, Goals, Objectives, Action/Implementation Plan, Metrics, etc.) by answering the following questions: Strategic Planning is a disciplined effort to produce fundamental decisions and actions that shape and guide what an organization is, what it does, and why it does. It defines the process of Organization’s strategy and decision making on allocating the resources to pursue the strategy. It also controls the mechanism for guiding the implementation of strategy. The organization I was once working with was had a vision statement which was the roadmap for the future. The organization was well directed broad to include impact factors but narrow enough to clearly define the correct path. It had a mission which define who and what they are which set the goals for them. Their values provided a perfect guideline for high level management and the staff which was their fundamental belief in how they function.
