1. Some people love scary movies while others hate them. Using knowledge of sensation and perception, explain this. I would have to say it is because of perception. Human perception of the world is obviously influenced by things such as culture and misinterpretations of cues. People tend to perceive things in a certain way because of their experience or expectations. So when it comes to sensation it would be just the light and sounds of the movie. With the perception though its from what they are taught when growing up or even seeing their parents. If the people around them don’t like the scary movies and are scared when they watch them then the person watching them as well will be scared. Now on the other hand if that is all you watch and like it is also because of the people are you always did and they were not scared. So it is more of what you see as the years go. With the sensation it would be the colors that you may not like as that is in the movie as well or the noises in the movie that
