I intend to major in Social Science with a minor in Secondary Education. I am writing to you as a request for acceptance into the education program. In this letter, I will describe my goal of becoming a teacher, and I will also justify that teaching is the correct choice for me through the outline of my personal characteristics and accomplishments. I deem these characteristics and experiences very important and feel they will help to uphold my success as a teacher in the future. Many people have positively impacted my life throughout my education, including teachers, coaches, and family members. Mr. Timm, my 10 th -grade history teacher, has had an extreme influence on me. I consider him to be one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. He would teach the material in a fun way,
