Interviewing a Student about Academic Attitudes Ask a student about his/her perspective on his/her class. As you talk with the student, think about how the classroom environment shapes his/her attitudes . Each question can and should be followed with WHY? The student interviewed was male female. S/he is _____ years old. 1. Do you think everybody can do well in Social Science if they try? Yes, because it isn’t very hard if you study and pay attention in class, and Mr. Kallevig makes it fun. 2. Are you good at Social Science? Yes, I usually get As or Bs in social studies. 3. Do you like Social Science? Yes, social studies classes are my favorite because they aren’t always like math where there is only one right answer. 4. Is Social Science more for boys or for girls? I think social studies is for both because there are a lot of different social studies classes that both boys and girls might like. 5.
