PLA #2 2/6/07 Writing Assignment A The blindfold experience was very interesting. Since I couldn’t see, I had to use my other senses to guide me. It was very difficult at the beginning, but over time finding my way around got easier. I used my sense of touch to feel things and figure out what and where different objects were, and I used my sense of hearing to tell who somebody was and how close they were, etc. If I became permanently blind I think I would become very good at using my other senses as my “sight,” and it would become very natural to me. My partner noticed that I needed less help finding things and feeling my way around over time because I became more trusting of my other senses. I think it would be very hard to lose 2 senses at a time, like sight and hearing, or especially sight and touch. I used my sense of touch the most to guide myself, and I think it would be very difficult to get around without those two senses. If I lost my hearing and my sight simultaneously it would be very difficult to distinguish between people because
