Messianic Fulfillment The Bible is a book, and like all books it contains a dramatic climax. What is the dramatic climax of the bible? The climax of the bible is the Messianic Fulfillment because it is the answer to all of the prophecies and questions that were formed up to the point when Jesus was born. After Jesus’ death the climax ends and the period of the Church begins. The Old Testament contains many guidelines and prophecies of what the Messiah will be. The New Testament shows that Jesus fulfills these guidelines and is the Messiah that the Old Testament prophesizes about. The Old Testament says that the Messiah will be born of a virgin. The New Testament shows this to be Jesus because he was born to Mary, a virgin. The Old Testament says that the Messiah will be a descendent of the Davidic throne and also of Abraham. The New Testament shows that Joseph, Jesus’ father was a descendent of David, who was a descendent of Abraham, and therefore so was Jesus. The Old Testament says that the Messiah
