Japan was no match militarily compared to the powers of the west so it ultimately gave into the new changes without much of a fight. Economically Japan practically changed overnight from a feudal state to a more centralized regime; this is recognized as the Meiji Restoration which began in 1868. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
