There are many ways in which a company can motivate its employees and create a desirable working environment. One such method that serves to be extremely effective is good communication throughout the company. A prime example of this being implemented in a workplace is at the Griffin Hospital. There the managers have perfected the means of communication between employees and managers so well that it has found itself on the list of the best companies to work for the last eight years. They attribute this solely to the policy of open communication and the employees agree that the managers go beyond simply listening, but actually turning the information into tangible improvements. One of the leaders of the hospital, Charmel, is so adamant about the policy of open communication that he does not go into his office to do paper work until after 5P.M. because he spends his day meeting with other people in their own departments. At Griffin Hospital all information is spread equally to all employees, for example, he holds a biannual state of the hospital address where he informs everyone
