Next unit: using 2 texts together in the service of an argument, without falling into the  formulaic C- compare/contrast trap Using Saint-Amour ideas: “hegemony forgets its origins”; Arac offers counter-discourse; danger of  countering is that you have to reiterate and use its language, thus potentially  reinforcing the ideas ‘originality vs culturality’; ‘valorization and selective memory’; changing  vocabulary both Arac (morally) and Amour (legally) object to the objectification of
