Is Social Media Ruining Your Relationship? Social media is an instant audience for anyone to see everything you are doing, which is why it puts such a strain on most relationships. Most of the time people use social media to make themselves look better and to create online relationships. However, when you are already in a relationship social media just creates problems. From posting all about your relationship to even just liking someone else’s photo, it’s something that has broken up over 80% of married couples. Trust plays a big part in social media as many couples lose trust in each other from things that happen on Twitter, Snapchat, Facebook, etc. Jealousy is an insecurity that comes with social media, when your partner “likes” or “favorites” other peoples posts or pictures is raises questions in your mind. If you ever have doubt that your significant other is not being faithful on social media then speak up. One of the biggest problems with questioning you partner on social media is not actually saying something, because by the time you actually do say something chances are your relationship is already in trouble. You can’t say that you haven’t “stalked” your partner’s social media pages in the time you have been dating. Usually when you do this you don’t let them know because you want them to think you trust them, which you may think you do. The problem is once you start looking at everything they are looking at, it is a sign that you have lost your trust in them. If you had trust in them you wouldn’t need to look at any of it, you wouldn’t question if they are privately messaging someone, you would just trust them.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
