In simplifying an algebraic expression you have to write it in its most condensed form, careful not to change the value of the expression by combining like terms , or in other words, simplifying an expression or an equation using addition and subtraction of the coefficients of terms. Numbers will be used to multiply variables, which is another way of explaining coefficient. It is important to understand the properties of algebra in order to correctly put the expressions and equations into their simplest forms by moving terms around to solve or simplify the expressions. The use of distributive property is the distribution of multiplication over addition. It says that when a number is multiplied by the sum of two other numbers, the first number can be handed out or distributed to both of those two numbers and multiplied by each of them separately. There will be several examples of distributive property in the equations to follow. This assignment is to simplify three different expressions by the use of the properties of real numbers. In using
