AEM 4240 Final FAQ 1. What material will be covered? Everything since the mid-term. 2. Will you include cases and the guest speakers? Yes. 3. How much detail should I remember from the cases? Each case is intended to be an example of some concept covered in class. You should thus know the basics of what happened in each cause, but more importantly how what happened relates to the material covered in the lecture before the case. See the practice exam for an example of case-related questions. 4. Will there be any fancy math on the test? No, just basic algebra at most. 5. Will there be time pressure on the exam? No, you should have plenty of time and the majority of people will hand in the their exam before time is up. 6a. Will you hold a review session? No, because I wouldn’t know what to say. I don’t know how to summarize 2 months of material into a one-hour explanation that would be helpful. Since this class is a capstone and covers the “best hits” from several disciplines and other classes, I don’t know how to summarize what is already, to some degree, a summary. 6b. What about office hours, then?
