class. Should you wish to do so, I recommend Economics of Strategy
by Besanko, Dranove, Shanley,
and Schaefer. Several copies of this book are available at the library on reserve. The edition does not
matter. It is not necessary to buy this book. But, if you are uneasy about your microeconomic
background and want a review, this is a good place to start.
Materials and assignments will be added to the website throughout the semester or handed out in
class. I will post the slides that I will present in class on the website, although I may not do so until the
evening before class. You can download these and print them out. I may also post announcements on the
Blackboard. If the information is time-sensitive, I will email it. However, you are responsible for
checking announcements from time to time.
