President Roosevelt believed that Hitler was a menace to the United States society and that is another reason to why he was going to aid the allies and stand guard until Hitler was gone for good. Thinking about it this means that there was actually many reasons to why the United States got initially involved, but nothing will ever equal up to the pain that was caused on that day in the Pearl Harbor.There was a mixture of horror and pain lead up to needing that revenge. Imagine on that day of December 7, 1941, hundreds of Japanese fighter planes flying over attacking Pearl Harborand anything that got in their way.
