Some may call him the stallion and the ambassador of great modern art. On the other hand, some detailed him as the last soldier fighting for a futile cause that is modern art. These claims may be opposing but they only see Pollack as a great artist, innovator, and creator of incredible pieces of artwork. Many artists and historians thought that modern art was a lost cause and Pollacks death was related to the struggle to keep it alive. Modern art is a dying form of art because it is seen as something that will never reach the top in the art world. Unlike the Renaissance and Chinese Art, modern art is very abstract and at the time, broke all conventions of art including form, style, and canvas. This is the key factor in people believing that it will not last because they believed that people will not accept new art forms....
