“I never think of the future - it comes soon enough.” “Patience is the companion of Wisdom.” “It's a dangerous business, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to” The previous were the quotes that I was given on Tuesday, in order to prepare a speech for today. Now these really didn’t seem promising, but I thought that the fourth one may have some potential. Unfortunately, it went as follows. “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.” Now as you can see, somebody…….(point)…. And I am not pointing fingers, has beat me to the point. So, I have decided to give an entertainment speech in the form of a quote speech, with some quotes that I have hand picked. The quotes that I have chosen are from President George W. Bush, a person that many of you probably look up to. I mean I know that personally, I think this guy is just the man. I hope to live up to half the man he is, especially in terms of his public speaking ability, which probably would have helped me get through this class with a little more finesse. In the select pieces of rhetorical genius, which I will share with you shortly, I hope that you see his unbelievable oratory skills and the obvious reasons for him being my role model. Furthermore, after this speech, I hope that all of you will wish to aspire to be people with a fraction of the talent that he has.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
