Sustainable Development Lesson 8, Part 1 Whether or not global warming or climate change really exists and is currently damaging our earth, everyone has a role or stake in this issue. Throughout people’s lives, personal decisions are made and own rationales are created. Whether or not you believe in global warming, everyone to some degree has a stake in the decisions and are directly affecting by this issue. The lists of stakeholders include every industry, organization and local state and federal governments. The following describes the roles of these stakeholders: Industries - The agriculture industry has the stake of seeing if climate change and the effects of global warming will indeed affect their crops. Changing how they grow their produce to cope with the climate change will harm the industry. On the other hand this industry has its perks because they are able to sell carbon credits to other industries forced to reduce emissions. -
