How does the beginning of Luke’s gospel represent the continuation of God’s story of creation, fall, and redemption? Luke’s Gospel was the longest Gospel out of all four. The Gospels contain all Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and therefore Luke having been the lengthiest holds a significant amount of biblical drama. “Luke’s two-part work highlights God’s plan.” (Green, McKnight, & Marshall,1992) The Gospel of Luke “contains Narrative History, Genealogy, Sermons, Parables, and some Prophetic Oracles.” (Smith, 2016) There are parables and miracles that are unique to Luke that also add importance and significance to Biblical Drama. One of the biggest ideas or concepts that I find helpful in understanding the continuation of the biblical drama (aside from knowing of the length of which Luke’s Gospel is, and the fact that Luke contains many influential parables and sermons) is the way in which Luke’s gospel is how God’s divine plan for human salvation was accomplished during the period of Jesus’s life (Luke
