Step 1: Database Project Proposal I am the manager at the Solerax sunglass kiosk in the mall. My management duties are to keep all the inventory records, employees working hours, and to pay their wages. In starting, I was doing all work manually using papers but it used to give me lots of problems in calculating hours and the wages, and also took my whole lot of time and energy to fulfill all this. Then, I started using excel worksheets to keep all the data and used all the formulae which are already built-in into the Excel. I was doing pretty well afterwards. The problem rose when my boss started another kiosk at the other mall. Boss wanted some of the employees to work on both locations. Since then he opened the new kiosk at the other mall and employees started working on both locations, I have been creating two excel sheets every week, one for each of them. It’s working fine but I am not comfortable doing it because I have a computer background and what I am seeing almost every day at the work the data redundancy and
