Talent, Oregon 97540 To Mr. John Stocking: Eco-Advertising Incorporated would like to propose an advertisement for Endangered Species Chocolate Company chocolate bars to help save the Chinese pink river dolphin. Our company’s focus is to provide advertisement for Endangered Species Chocolate Company business in order to promote sales of which a percentage will be donated to helping the Chinese pink river dolphin. Since both of our companies’ goals are to promote the safety of endangered animals, working together for a common purpose would provide exceptional oportunites. This small dolphin has “existed for 20 to 30 million years” (Arthur, 1996), in the area of the Yangtze River. Considering the length of time they have lived there, it seems that they almost deserve to live there. They have been living in that area longer than the humans who inhabit it. Yet, considering how long they have lived in the area there may be “less than 100 surviving individuals” (Odell, n.d.). This number is shockingly low considering the length of the river and how long this dolphin has existed. There are many reasons for this mammal’s current situation.
