To: James Maxin From: Jeremy Kaiser; Student Date: Wednesday, March 18, 2008 Subject: This is a Technical Memo for Lab 3 experiment 1 Introduction: The purpose of this memo is to present the forces in the Gig’em Toy Company’s new “Reveille and Friends” stuffed memorabilia collection and to make sure that it doesn’t exceed the safety regulation for toddlers’ toys required by National Agency for Safety at Texas (NAST). The experiment was recorded by taking a picture of a peg board with three different force gages at various different forces and angles. Background: The force gages were positioned on the peg board with one force gage pointing straight up. And two force gages pointing down and out. Each different experiment was shot with the same force gage pointing up, and the only thing that was adjusted was the two force gages pointing down and out. They each were moved out one peg (10cm) Body: Upon completing the lab, we were attained this data from the pictures: 3.4 N 3.8 N
