Society: Modern Mass Murderers and Behaviors Facebook, myspace, blog, online forum are all the benefits that internet gave us. The internet or the World Wide Web (WWW) completely changed our lives in the 20 th and 21 th century. New industries came up that we never knew and new culture bloomed out. All the benefits brought by the internet are unbelievable, but there are also side effects. In recent days, the side effects of internet is getting grater. As the introduction of internet, people’s ideas and belief changed. Making an own society, the internet also changed one’s behaviors. In the serious side the internet is generating new kinds of serial killers, due to one’s modification of his/her cognition. In this paper we will discuss about internet and its effects and Mass murderers. As the most recent case, on June 8, 2008, in the streets of Akihabara, Japan, 25 years old, Kato Tomohiro, plowed a rented truck into an intersection full of civilian, and then began to brutally stabbing random civilians.
