Dear Reader, My paper talks about the views of Elizabeth Cady Stanton on the issue of Women’s suffrage movement. I used Nancy Isenberg’s Sex and Citizenship and Stanton’s “Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions” to prove my thesis how women is important in the society even if people think men has a stronger “voice” in the community. In these two articles that I picked, it argues about how women rights to vote should be similar to how men’s right to vote. Women’s point of view in politics should be also considered in the society when all humans share to make the society civilized. Men and women should have equal rights in the United States. My strengths in this paper is emphasizes of the important role of women in the society. Both men and women make a up the community, it is only fair if the women get the opportunity to speak out just as much as the men. I used Stanton’s “Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions” to prove how women view in politic is also important in deciding “who rules” them in their society. I talked a lot about why women are significant, not only the men’s perspective of politics in strong. Women also make up the part of society. My weakness in the paper is in my explanations because I might quote something and comment about it. But, it isn’t expressed as much as I want it to be. My comments can be explained better in details. I want to use one more source referring to the women suffrages other then Stanton and Isenberg. I believe that will help me write more in my essay. It can talk more about the role of women and why it’s so important. Some of my paragraphs repeat a lot and they might be all over the place. I tried to reread what I wrote, but I think the 2 nd draft will be a better paper having a third source. Sincerely,
