Distinguish between radiography and radiation therapy . -Radiography is the process of making a radiograph; producing an image on a radiosensitive surface by radiation other than visible light. Radio therapy is the medical use of ionizing radiation as part of cancer treatments to control malignant cells. 2. List and define three types of imaging equipment. -Electron microscope: a microscope that can magnify very small details with high resolving power due to the use of electrons as the source of illumination, magnifying at levels up to 2,000,000 times. -Projectional radiographs (x-rays): used to determine the type and extent of a fracture as well as for detecting pathological changes in lungs. -Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI): uses powerful magnets to polarize and excite hydrogen nuclei in water molecules in human tissue, producing a detectable signal which is spatially encoded
