Derrick Palecek HRIM 201 11/17/08 Dr. Bardi Training Program HW What I would include in a training program for a server probably follow, I’m guessing, what many training programs actually are. It would start out with basic knowledge of the place of employment. Next would be meeting the employee fellow employees, and also the manager/supervisor/owner. The employee would need to complete the ServSafe certification sometime in their training program as well, so it would be a good idea to start it early.

Following an easy four step-shadowing program is usually the most common. This includes, telling the employee, showing the employee, letting the employee do it, and supervising the new employee. This is a basic training program for many table servers and would probably get more specific based on the place of employment....
