October 17, 2007 John Patrick Hughes Sigma Phi Epsilon 1832 Fraternity Park Drive Knoxville, TN 37916 Membership Status I just got back from our annual Fall Brotherhood Trip. We went to Alabama to watch the game this weekend, and had a blast. We actually ran into some alumni that also came down for the game. The alumni were asking about you a lot. I understand that you are having some second thoughts about remaining active this semester and next because of some tough times that you have run into. Finances are a serious issue. SigEp offers many different ways to offset the cost of being involved in a social fraternity. Last year our alumni awarded over $42,000 in scholarships. The Alumni guarantee at least $500 for anyone in the fraternity that makes a 3.0 or better. To help, the fraternity offers study hours once or twice per week in the library. Most of the brothers that have participated in the study groups gave extremely positive feedback from their classes. Most reported that they feel more prepared for class and in some cases, increased their GPA from semester to semester by .75

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
