Basic structure of a nerve cell
•
Cell body – receives info from other neurons,
contains nucleus and organelles
•
Dendrites (and dendritic spines) receive info
from other neurons
•
Axon – conducts info to other neurons
(myelinated vs. unmyelinated)
• Size
