Pressure : a measure of the force exerted per unit area on the boundaries of a substance. It is caused by the collisions of the molecules of the substance with the boundaries of the system. 3. Modes of energy storage : stationary or transportation applications 4. Control Volume : a mathematical abstraction employed in the process of creating mathematical models of physical processes. A fixed volume in space through which the fluid flows. 5. Control Mass : the mass of the fluid remains constant as the fluid moves through the control volume. 6. Extensive property : a property that depends on the amount of matter present. 7. Intensive property : a property for which the value does not depend on the amount of matter present. 8. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
